How Majestic Got Its Start
Aaron Poelker started pouring concrete in 2004. By 2005 he was in the union and working on Manhattan high-rises. Three years later, he was running the second-largest flooring contractor in Manhattan.
In 2011, he decided to build something of his own. Majestic launched out of a shed. Within three months, Aaron had hired full-time employees. Within a year, the company had moved into a commercial warehouse and was taking Manhattan jobs.
The business grew on relationships and reputation.
It still does.
Manhattan's largest general contractors took notice early. When a flooring specification was impossible for everyone else, they called Aaron. That's when the industry gave him a name that stuck: The Concrete Connoisseur. in the winter of 2013 and 2014, Majestic traveled out of state for a season-long run of MLB stadium flooring installations, including four facilities in a single season.
Fifteen years and over a million square feet later, nothing has changed.
